We all want a home that is a private sanctuary where we can have relaxing me-time and enjoy the company of family.

But we all need time out of the house too, and not just to go to work or school. What Claravale residents love is the choice of recreation areas and facilities all very close-by.

Get going to the park!

There’s nothing like getting out into the fresh air, and Claravale is surrounded by natural places and open spaces.

Gerald Russell Park is a large leafy local park where you can stretch your legs on the paved paths that circle the area and its three ponds.

Nearby Chiltern Reserve is a great meeting place and exercise area with a kids’ playground and the popular Harber Dog Park which is bound to get your furry best mate’s tail wagging!

Sporty fun

Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre is where you can get moving in a different way. This Centre has a Swim School for people of all ages, five pools, a kids’ water play area, and a toddler’s splash pad! If water is not your thing, visit the Wellness Suite or talk to the qualified gym instructors and use the latest fitness equipment at the Health Club.

If you are more into club and group sports, Armadale Arena is where the community goes for basketball, netball, badminton, and gymnastics. For golfing enthusiasts, the Springs Clubs is a beautiful 9 hole course surrounded by reserve bushland, offering lessons for budding pros too.

Another special destination is Araluen Botanic Park with its 15 hectares of spectacular and exotic gardens where thousands of plants flourish in a stunning bushland setting. This makes it an ideal habitat for a range of Australian birds living free amongst the flowers and trees.  Look out for special festivals, concerts and exhibitions which are frequently held here.

Ahoy there! Now to a man-made attraction with a nautical theme. Shipwreck Park offers hours of fun on a 30m ‘shipwreck’ with slides, ropes and hidey holes, along with a rock climbing wall, trampolines, a flying fox and a popular water play area.

Now is the time to get moving. Contact our sales team to find out how you can join in the fun at Claravale:
